Chico at 8 Years

Weight: 4 poundsGender: Male
Favorite Food: Flint River Ranch.
Story: I found him on Nov. 10, 2001 in New York at the end of the road I lived on. He had no hair and had mange so bad that the vet said it was the worse she had seen (the vet guessed his age to be around 3 years old). I opted to use Revolution as a treatment. Many baths and two weeks later, he was growing a great coat of hair. He was not neutered and had several loose teeth that had to be removed. He was neutered, had dental work, and is now living with me in Colorado. I attempted to find his owner and have no idea how he came to be where he was in the condition he was in and am at a loss to explain how this 4 ½ pound wisp of a dog survived in Western New York woods (I lived in a rural area) in November. He is the love of my life and can’t imagine not sharing my life with him. I had just had to put my Rottie to sleep due to cancer after 11 years of companionship and Chico filled a deep void, so I imagine I was as grateful to him for coming into my life as he was to be rescued. I credit Flint River Ranch for a part in his speedy recovery!
His name came to be Chico because I had just had just been shopping with a friend at my favorite store, Chico’s!
