Official Cat Lady and Her Boys

Breed: Domestic Shorthair CatWeight: 14 pounds
Gender: Male
Favorite Food: Flint River Ranch Cat and Kitten. I go by Dr. Falconer’s recommendations of Flint River Ranch and the Feline Raw Food diets. My boys love this.
Story: Jessie was the neighborhood teenage male cat. He was friendly with everyone on the street. Everyone loved him but no one could keep him inside. I saw him almost get hit by a car several times before I convinced my roommate to let me keep him. He has been with me on my travels (lived 10 places in Texas and California). He has lived with other cats. I learned what kind of cats he liked best: sweet, submissive male cats.

Breed: Domestic Longhair CatWeight: 9 pounds
Gender: Male
Favorite Activities: Food Time beats everything! After Mo-Bear eats, greeting Summer at the door, getting Summer’s full attention for a petting or playing, sitting in the sun, and running outside are his favorites.
Story: When Jessie and I lived alone in 2001, I went to a foster group to find a male submissive cat for Jessie. They get to know the cats’ personalities. This is where I met Mo-Bear. He was sharing a cage with Ramsey and their tails were intertwined. All the other cats had separate cages. Another woman was looking at Ramsey. The woman said that Mo-Bear gets along with most cats and seems to be all heart. I was filling out the adoption paperwork for Mo-Bear when I found out that the woman looking at Ramsey had decided not to get him. I had brought a friend with me to discourage me from getting more than one cat. As we were driving away with Mo-Bear, it hit me how hard it is for cats to fall in love with each other. I told my friend to not say anything – and I turned my car around. I adopted Ramsey too. Ramsey and Mo-Bear had other names given to them from the foster parents. I forgot what they were. It took them a couple of years to bond with Jessie, but now all three of them live in harmony. Sometimes all three of them manage to lie in my lap. Sometimes I see all three walking somewhere as one unit, hip to hip and shoulder to shoulder. I feel overjoyed at their connection with each other.
