2791. Francoise and Allan Durning Print
Button at 2 Years (left) and Lilly at 1 Year

Breed: Cavalier King Charles SpanielWeight: 24 pounds
Gender: MaleBirthday: August 30, 2006
Favorite Food: They like Flint River Ranch Original Puppy and Adult Kibble and bananas. They also like lettuce, pears, and apples. They will not eat their kibble in the morning until they have had five or six slices of bananas!
Special Skills or Responsibilities: Their responsibility is to fill our home with love. Francoise suffers from gall bladder attacks and, hours before an attack, Button reverts from dad’s dog to mom’s shadow.
Although we live in a townhouse complex with no fencing, they will both run out from the garage door to go pee and come back in. Button will roam with me and come on call, but we still have to put Lilly on a leash if we leave the proximity of our home. Button has a modified cocker cut; he was beginning to look like a yak. Lilly still has a Cavalier’s coat but we keep her paws trimmed since our wood floors are like a skating rink if her hair grows on her paws.

Breed: Cavalier King Charles SpanielWeight: 14 pounds
Gender: FemaleBirthday: October 1, 2007
Favorite Activities: Button likes to go wherever his dad goes, but Lilly is definitely a mummy’s girl.
Favorite Place to Sleep: They sleep in their crates. They were raised as puppies with show dogs in the basement of a home in crates. When they first came to us it was apparent that they missed the noises they were accustomed to in the basement - the heater, water heater, etc. They are so accustomed to their crates they know when we are going out and race down stairs to their cages. During the day they will sleep wherever we are.
Unfortunately we had to put Lilly to sleep last year, she suffered from severe neurological problems.
