Scout at 6 Years

Scout after a Fur-Cut—Healthy Thanks to Flint River Ranch Trout and Potato Food

Breed: Australian Shepherd MixWeight: 75 pounds
Gender: Female
Favorite Food: She loves Flint River Ranch Trout and Potato Kibble and trash (mostly paper, money, plastic). We try to keep her away from all paper, etc., but we're not always successful!
Favorite Activities: She likes going for walks, chasing the cat, and eating trash (if we forget to close the lid).
Favorite Place to Sleep: She likes to sleep on the floor, next to me, Kim.
Special Skills or Responsibilities: She is good at eating odd objects and surviving (skill?). She's great at chasing the cat!
Story: We adopted Scout two years ago from a man who was moving to New York City and couldn't take Scout with him. She was sweet, but came with some "issues." Scout smelled bad (skin and anal glands), was bloated and overweight (83 pounds), vomited before and after each meal, had daily diarrhea, and was poorly socialized toward cats, children, and other dogs. We tried prescription and "hypoallergenic" foods, none of which resolved her vomiting and diarrhea. While researching different foods, we came across Flint River Ranch. We tried the Trout and Potato and within a few days, her vomiting and diarrhea were greatly improved. After a year-plus of feeding her exclusively Trout and Potato, her digestive issues are resolved and her odor is much improved. She's like a different dog (thank goodness)!
If we could find a way to keep her away from paper and plastics in the trash, then we'd be just about home free!
