Cha Cha at 3 Years

Zola at 12 Years

Cha Cha
Breed: SiameseVariety: Snowshoe
Gender: Female
Favorite Food: Cha Cha loves Flint River Ranch Cat Food.
Favorite Activities: They both love tearing up my living room furniture!
Favorite Place to Sleep: Cha Cha likes her covered cat bed sometimes, and sometimes lies against the pillow or on the flokata rug covering the living room couch.
Special Skills or Responsibilities: Cha Cha is a predator. She likes black beetles in the summer and birds in the spring. One evening, she brought in a hummingbird. I caught the frightened hummingbird and it flew away!
She was named Cha Cha because of her high level of activity.

Breed: Domestic Shorthair CatGender: Male
Favorite Food: Zola loves dry fruit.
Favorite Place to Sleep: At night, they sleep with me, and during the day, in the guest bedroom. Zola's day bed is a soft, square cat bed.
Special Skills or Responsibilities: Zola used to be a birder, but now just watches. They don't eat their prey. They are talented tormentors.
Story: Zola was named after Emile Zola. They both come from the streets. I adopted them from neighbors who were caring for them temporarily.
I renovated my home and bought one new piece of living room furniture. That is when I realized that I cannot have anything except finished wood furniture with futons. They have control in my home. I will always have cats with claws, destroying whatever they can dig their claws into and, knowing that, I have learned that compromise is necessary.
