Trisha at 4 Years

Kayaking with Dad

Happy Halloween!

Breed: Border CollieWeight: 45 pounds
Gender: Female
Favorite Food: She enjoys Flint River Ranch Trout and Potato mixed with Senior Plus kibbles and chicken jerky for a snack.
Favorite Activities: Trisha loves to fetch a ball, catch soft Frisbees, go for walks with her mom and dad, go kayaking in the Puget Sound, and, of course, keep mom and dad company at work every day.
Favorite Place to Sleep: Trisha loves to sleep anywhere her mom and dad are (she does have a very nice big bed in the bedroom with her mom and dad).
Special Skills or Responsibilities: Trisha feels her main job around the home is to patrol the yard, making sure no deer eat her mom's roses or garden. She also watches the neighborhood, sounding her high pitched alarm, letting us all know when someone is there who shouldn't be.
Story: Trisha is a rescue dog, found with a litter of eight little puppies under a deck in Yakima, Washington. As I was searching for a Border Collie for our friends, I came across her picture with a local pet rescue agency and thought she was beautiful. Our friends wanted a black and white Border Collie and were not interested. After a couple of weeks and some convincing, my husband agreed and we went for a look. Love at first sight. Trisha is the most wonderful friend; she is smart, loves to snuggle, and she steals everyone's heart when she meets them. Everyone calls her an angel.
