Hazel June at 7 Years

Hazel June
Breed: Basset HoundGender: Female
Favorite Food: She has done wonderfully on Flint River kibble and especially loves the trout and potato.
Story: Hazel June came from the 'Animal Rescue Project' organization in Kalamazoo, MI. It was clear that she had recently weaned puppies (and from her "physique" looks like maybe she'd nursed several past litters). She was seen being placed over the fence of the local Animal Control.
Fun Facts: Like many Bassets, she selectively hears her momma. She hates squirrels, the UPS driver, and our poor mailman. Her extreme stubbornness, table-climbing, and a couple other ill behaviors have earned the title of "Worst Basset in a Series" (she is my 4th), but I wouldn't trade her for the world!
